A popular celebrity defense against tabloid rumors is to speak out and tell the story themselves. Tori Spelling plans to do just that in her new Lifetime docu-series "True Tori."
Spelling and her husband Dean McDermott have been battling rumors and gossip surrounding their marriage and McDermott's infidelity.
The first episode will air in April, just three weeks after the show began taping. "Since viewers will be seeing events almost immediately after they occur, nobody knows how the drama will unfold -- not Tori, not Dean -- and only time will tell if Tori and Dean’s marriage survives," a press release for the show said.
The couple have been the center of many reality shows, including Oxygen's "Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." Spelling and McDermott have been married since 2006 and have four children together.
The new series begins April 22 at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
