1: Lupita Nyong'o was born in Mexico while her family was in a "political exile." But, the family eventually returned to Kenya where she grew up.
2: She only has four acting credits on IMDB!? "12 Years a Slave" was her first full-length movie. She was cast in the movie right before she graduated from the Yale School of Drama.
