Electronic duo Daft Punk took home two of music's most coveted Grammy Awards Sunday night, winning Album of the Year for "Random Access Memories" and Record of the Year for "Get Lucky." And what the helmet-wearing stars said in their acceptance speeches was historic: nothing.
As Daft Punk remained silent throughout the entire night, singer-songwriter Paul Williams accepted the award for Album of the Year. Pharrell Williams, who sang "Get Lucky," gave the acceptance speech as the robots stood quietly.
Many other outstanding rising stars were also acknowledged during music's biggest night of the year, as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Lorde and Kacey Musgraves took home big wins.
