Well son... Electro-pop pioneers Kraftwerk were formed in Dusseldorf, Germany, in 1970. They began with two members, then added another two, as they basically invented the concept of electronic music. They replaced guitars with synthesizers and then replaced synthesizers with computers. And they were the first big act to do either of those things.
