Like many photographers, Russian artist Elena Shumilova draws inspiration from her surroundings: The farm she runs, her two toddler boys, their pets (a cat, a dog, rabbits and ducklings), Russia's defined, changing seasons.
“When shooting I prefer to use natural light -- both inside and outside," Shumilova told the site Bored Panda. "I love all sorts of light conditions -- street lights, candle light, fog, smoke, rain and snow -- everything that gives visual and emotional depth to the image,” she added.
