Bourbon is just about as American as apple pie. The barrel-aged whiskey, which originated in Kentucky in the 18th century, must only be produced in the United States to be legally classified as a bourbon.
Now one of America's biggest bourbon brands -- Jim Beam -- is getting bought out by a Japanese spirits company called Suntory.
