After the holidays start, most people just default to Netflix and pajamas (not that there's anything wrong with that, mind you). However, Lilly, Leon, and baby Orson decided that they could go a step further: Rather than re-watch their favorite films, they would re-create them.
Then they created Cardboard Box Office.
What is it? Why, just the cutest re-creations you've ever seen of "Die Hard," "Alien," "Jurassic Park," and "Apollo 13." And those are just a few of the ideas that the family took on.
Their Facebook page says: "The costumes, props, and sets in Cardboard Box Office are created entirely out of everyday household items, toys, cardboard, and three individuals slowly losing their sanity. Enjoy!"
Their blog is updated weekly with a new photo. And even though they are in New Zealand for the holidays, they promise that they are still scouring for ideas.
"This old Box Brownie makes a pretty good Iron Giant," Leon writes on Facebook, holding the camera in front of his face. Is that a hint?
