A Florida man is facing criminal charges after allegedly attempting to hide evidence in a very dangerous way.
Joseph Ramos, 20, is accused of swallowing two necklaces after a burglary at a home in Safety Harbor, Florida, last week.
Ramos was arrested December 11 after Pinellas County sheriff's deputies discovered that the vehicle he was driving was one that had been stolen during the Safety Harbor home burglary the day before, according to a press releasefrom the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

When Ramos was being booked at the local jail, he was subjected to a full-body x-ray (pictured above) that revealed a dark mass near his stomach.
Ramos was then taken to a hospital, where the two necklaces were removed. After the surgery, the jewelry was taken to the burglary victim who "positively identified" them as hers.
Ramos is charged with one count of burglary and one count of tampering with evidence.
The press releasestates that the investigation into the burglary is still ongoing.
The sheriff says the x-ray machine, called a RAD PRO SecurPass Scanner, was installed in June.
"The SecurPass is an additional state-of-the-art security tool specifically designed for contraband detection. The purpose of Secure Pass is to prevent contraband from entering the jail and to keep the facility secure," reads the press release.
"The system can detect metals, pills, plastics, drugs, and other unusually shaped items that may be concealed on the inmate’s person."
