At least six people are dead after a tornado outbreak in Illinois and parts of the Midwest, officials said Sunday.
As the storms plowed through, photos of the damage started to pour in Illinois from Pekin to Washington. With cars overturned and trees cracked at their trunks, the damage already appears to be extensive. The National Weather Service reported that winds in Oak Lawn were gusting up to 86 mph.

The severe weather caused a ground stop at both Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports.
