The Running of the Bulls has been a beloved tradition in Pampalona, Spain, for hundreds of years: tie on your red scarf, get your running shoes laced up and get ready to run. However, not everyone can shell out the cash to truck over to Spain to take place in the adreneline-charged event.
So what's the solution? A U.S. version, of course. Enter The Great Bull Run, which models itself on the legendary San Fermin festival event. However, there are a few really cool changes, the most notable of all being that the bulls are not injured or killed at the end of the event. Oh, and there's also a tomato food fight called Tomato Royale. Yep, you can actually pay to throw a tomato at someone's face.
