John Hamilton: February 14, 2001, ended in horror when Hamilton, a 52-year-old obstetrician-gynecologist, called 911 to report he found his wife, Susan, lying on the bathroom floor in a pool of blood. Police discovered the couple's marriage wasn’t as happy as it seemed and when they learned his wife was considering asking for a divorce. The jury took less than two hours to convict Hamilton of first-degree murder.
