For this giant rubber duck, the world is his bathtub.
The yellow duck, created by Dutch conceptual artist Florentijin Hofman, has been floating around the world since 2007 and has visited 10 countries, including the Netherlands, Australia and Brazil.
Hofman hopes his playful duck will be enjoyed by more than just children. "I see it as an adult thing. It makes you feel young again. It refers to your childhood when there was no stress or economic pressure, no worry about having to pay rent," he said.
Multiple versions of the inflatable sculpture are currently making the rounds in Asia. One of them will also make its first U.S. appearance Friday in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. On Thursday, one of the ducks arrived at Summer Palace, a popular tourist destination in Beijing, China.
