Colorado has been fighting back against flooding since late Wednesday evening. Despite the disaster, a Larimer County sheriff told CNN that what he's seen so far has him feeling hopeful.
"The roads and homes might be gone," Sheriff Smith said, "but inch by inch, mile by mile, community by community, they are taking this stuff back."
