It was a glamorous night out for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Thursday.
All eyes were on the new parents as Prince William and Duchess Catherine walked the red carpet together at the Tusk Conservation Awards in London. Catherine showed off her post-baby figure in a show-stopping, gold sequin gown by one of her favorite designers, Jenny Packham.
"As you might have gathered, Catherine and I have recently become proud parents – of a baby who has a voice to match any lion's roar!" William told attendees inside the gala. "This is actually our first evening out without him, so please excuse us if you see us nervously casting cheeky glances at our mobile phones to check all is well back home."
While his parents enjoyed their first night out, 7-week-old George was reportedly being watched by William and Harry’s former nanny, Jessie Webb.
Earlier in the week, the palace announced Prince William would be leaving the armed forces and will move with his family into Kensington Palace within the next few weeks.
