Jodi Arias was convicted on May 8 of first-degree murder in the death of her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander. However, during the penalty phase of the trial, the jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision on whether she deserves life in prison or death.

A retrial of the penalty phase is scheduled for July 18.
