Weekend Squee: These buns are pro hoppers

Since bunnies are great jumpers, it only makes sense that they should be a part of a bunny-jumping event. Because these things actually happen in this ridiculously cool world we live in.

Would you like to go to an event where you watch bunnies compete against each other by hopping over miniature obstacles built just to suit their size? I think the only sane answer is "OH GOD YES!"

In that case, you might want to hop (see what I did there) on a plane and head to Germany, because they host the Rommerz Rabbit Hopping Competition annually, which is exactly what it sounds like -- furry little dudes competing to see who jumps best.

Germany isn't the only place that likes to watch buns hop, though. There's a Canadian Rabbit Hopping Club. And Denmark, Sweden and Norway also have their own rabbit-jumping events, which people attend so they can joyously applaud from the sidelines.

Don't pretend like you don't want to go. We know you do.
