Most of the Northeast is digging out from a massive blizzard.
More than 40 million people saw their homes and cars blanketed with snow and streets slick with ice. The blizzard left more than 5,000 travelers stranded. Three NBA teams had to change travel plans because of the storm. Governors in several New England states declared states of emergency were declared and power outages left 635,000 customers in the dark.
Meteorologists say this wintry mess was actually the merging of two powerful storms. Although there will be long days of clean-up and reconstruction across the Northeast, many iReporters braved the blizzard to snap some phenomenal shots of the aftermath.
