If you've long loved the romance of the "Roaring Twenties," your heart may do a flip at the idea of seeing a home that "The Great Gatsby" author F. Scott Fitzgerald once lived in. But what if you could live in it, too? Hold onto your horses, because if you happen to be in the Baltimore area, you might be able to make that pipe dream come true.
The home that Fitzgerald lived in from 1933 to 1935 is for sale at 1307 Park Avenue in Baltimore. Currently priced at $450,000, Zillow reports that the townhouse has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and porches in the front and back. The decorative fireplaces give away a bit of the home's history at a glance (it was built in 1900).
Fitzgerald was best known for "The Great Gatsby," as well as coining the term "The Jazz Age." He completed four novels and a variety of short stories during his lifetime, and is often considered one of the greatest American writers of the 20th century. If we're lucky, maybe a ghost of his talent is still floating around on Park Avenue.
