Is there any bigger party than Carnival season in New Orleans? And is there any cuter Krewe than the pups of the Mystic Krewe of Barkus?
We'll let these pictures do the answering (Spoiler Alert: No, nothing is cuter).
New Orleans photographer Kerry Maloney snapped these epic pictures of this year's parade. The Krewe of Barkus has been parading since 1993, and this year's theme was "Tails and Tiaras: Here Comes Honey Bow Wow." The parade wound through the French Quarter on Sunday, attracting hundreds of admirers (mostly human).
The Krewe looks out for their furry brethren, too: Every year they host a coronation ball, and the proceeds go to animal charities.
