"Star Wars" devotees had a pretty intense reaction back in October when Disney snapped up LucasFilm for a cool $4 billion, and the talk of a new film in the franchise spawned thousands of hot and heavy internet reactions. Who would helm the new film? Would it suck? Would the wretched Jar Jar Binks return?
Seems we don't have to wait any longer: "Star Trek" director J. J. Abrams has been confirmed as the man behind Episode VII. We're not sure what the film will be about yet, but we do know via George Lucas that it will take place after the events of "Return of the Jedi."
Our first thoughts? We like Abrams (he did a solid job with Trek considering he wasn't well-versed in the series), but we instantly imagined what other directors would do if they stood in his shoes. Who do you imagine at the helm of the Star Wars galaxy?
