Many jackpot winners have lost it all – and more. Is it a curse or just misfortune?

Urooj Khan says he literally jumped for joy when he scored $1 million on a scratch-off ticket. The Illinois man was dead within the month.

The medical examiner's office originally ruled that Kahn had died of natural causes. But his family came forward and pushed investigators to revisit the case. It turns our Kahn had a lethal amount of cyanide in his system.

What are the odds?! Well when it comes to winning the lotto, they're about 1 in 135 million. But just because you might be lucky when it comes to the lottery doesn't necessarily mean you'll be lucky later in life.
