The color experts at Pantone have named “ Marsala” as the Color of the Year for 2015. The self-proclaimed “authority on color” company says this reddish-brown tone “emanate[s] a sophisticated, natural earthiness.”
For more than a decade, Pantone has hosted super-secret meetings with bright people to decide the color of the year, and the hues are seen as a reflection of the times -- if we're sad, do we need to be uplifted? If we're prosperous, should we be celebrated?
