Does the fashionista in you wistfully window shop at Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdale's? Do you day dream of donning duds from high end designers like Oscar de la Renta, Brian Atwood and Narciso Rodriguez? If your pocketbook (sadly) snaps you back to reality, we have fabulous news for you: Kohl's, Target and Costco collaborated with high end designers to bring you affordable fashion-- just in time for the holidays! In the past, those stores teamed up with designers like Isaac Mizrahi, Vera Wang and Derek Lam.
Now, they are back at it with savvy steals that will be easy on your wallet and eyes. The Target + Neiman Marcus Holiday Collection debuted its line on December 1st with styles from Rag & Bone, Tory Burch and Jason Wu all available to purchase. The retail store worked with the Council of Fashion Designers of America and 24 luxury designers to create the 50 piece collection. Kohl's teamed up with Narciso Rodriguez with an exclusive "Istanbul-inspired" collection -- filled with color blocking dresses in vibrant colors. The line debuted on November 6th.
Of course, stores aren't forgetting about the stylish men! Wholesale retailer Costco offers an array of attire for the fashionable fella-- with luxury labels like Calvin Klein, Tumi and Enzo Mantovani all available without the punch to your pocketbook.
They aren't the only ones cashing in on the budget friendly brand name combination. Stores like H&M, Macy's and Payless Shoes have also cashed in on the high end collaborations, but snagging hot names for a bargain doesn't just happen in stores. Invitation only websites like Rue La La, Haute Look and ideeli offer daily deals on high end products and clothing. What's the catch? You gotta catch deals while they are hot! Many are only offered within a 48 to 72 hour window. Even the beauty industry is cashing in on the "luxe for less" idea, with GLOSSYBOX, Birchbox and Loose Button offering monthly subscriptions filled with various high end beauty samples.
