Moms are creating successful businesses every day in this country, and a lot of them are doing it right out of their home. The number of women-owned businesses has jumped 44% over the past decade, and moms have played a big role in making that happen.
We're talking about moms like Brandi Temple, founder of Lolly Wolly Doodle. Brandi started out by making children's clothing in her garage, and her company is now the largest business in the world transacting on Facebook. Lolly Wolly Doodle now has more than 400,000 Facebook fans and the company employs more than 100 people in Lexington, N.C.
