Matthew McConaughey has recently dropped some serious weight for his latest role as a man with HIV in "The Dallas Buyer's Club."

The normally fit actor lost more than 30 pounds on a reported liquid-only diet, but he's not the first actor to drop serious weight for a film. Numerous stars throughout the years have shed drastic amounts of weight for a coveted role -- check out which ones in the gallery above.
