Although the technology has been around for a while in aerospace, automobile, medical and manufacturing industries, the price tag for the new fangled printer has kept them out of consumers' hands...until now. 

Ranging from $1,000 to $8,000, office supply retailer Staples now sells the mini manufacturing machine. Would you shell out the cash for the hottest tech trend?

It's not every day you come across an 8-year-old who likes to eat his fruits and veggies. It's even rarer to find a kid who not only wants to eat healthy, but encourages others to do the same. Meet Nicolas Come: a California whiz kid who has been hard at work developing "Nicolas’ Garden," an app that offers up healthy alternatives for kids.

Come says his dad was teaching him about fruits and vegetables when he got the idea to start his own healthy initiative. "I thought it would be cool if I could share this information online," he explained to HLN affiliate KTXL.
