Although the technology has been around for a while in aerospace, automobile, medical and manufacturing industries, the price tag for the new fangled printer has kept them out of consumers' hands...until now.

So what did our movie critic think? Director J.J. Abrams rebooted the series, hoping to make new and old "trekkies" flock to the theater. Leatherman says the newest spin on the sci-fi classic is very well done with the actors taking on the mannerisms of the original cast. However, Mr. Moviefone says the 3-D version may be a little distraction because of the special effects and action.
