Star Spaces: 'Homeland' star nabs NYC pad

When she's not busy playing a CIA operative in Showtime's hit series "Homeland," Claire Danes has a new NYC townhouse to call home. 

The actress previously owned a SOHO condo, and now she and her husband are moving on up to Greenwich Village, according to Zillow. The couple quietly purchased this $6.876 million townhouse last November. Country star Carrie Underwood is officially the voice of "Sunday Night Football's" opening theme song.   

NBC announced Tuesday that the Grammy-winning singer will take over duties from fellow country star, Faith Hill. Hill confirmed last month that she would not return to sing "Waiting All Day for Sunday" for a seventh season.
