A New Jersey man accused of strangling and beating his wife to death and then dumping her body in a vacant house pleaded not guilty to a murder charge Monday.

Abayuba Rivas, 39, is charged with first-degree murder and other offenses in connection with the death of his wife, 32-year-old Karla Jose Villagra-Garzon.

HLN’s Nancy Grace is outraged that Malaysia Airlines informed victims’ families through a text message that the passengers aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 likely didn’t survive.

The airline issued a statement on its decision to inform victims' families of their loved ones' fate with a text message, following widespread criticism of that move. "We informed the majority of the families in advance of the Prime Minister’s statement in person and by telephone. SMSs were used only as an additional means of communicating with the families," the statement read.
