Friend: ‘We've waited five years’ for this day

After Jodi Arias was found guilty of first-degree murder in the killing of Travis Alexander, a close friend of Travis tells Nancy Grace she and the Alexander family have “waited five years” for this day.

"I think this is probably the first time in her life she [Jodi Arias] has ever been held responsible for what’s she’s done,” Clancy Talbot said.

After 15 hours of deliberating, an Arizona jury has convicted Jodi Arias of first-degree murder for killing her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander in June of 2008.

Maria Cepparo, 40, pleaded not guilty to child endangerment charges.

Two years after she disappeared in the summer of 2007, the FBI featured Summers on a missing poster with Amanda Berry and Georgina DeJesus, two of the three women safely reunited with friends and relatives after their dramatic dash to freedom.

Police say an Orange County Sheriff’s deputy was charged with DUI after he was allegedly caught behind the wheel of an unmarked police cruiser with its emergency lights activated, WESH reported.

A trooper said Sgt. Kevin Meyer, 50, had bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol, according to reports.
