American Airlines says it knows what caused those seats to come loose in some of its flights.  It has to do with the mechanism pictured above... and it's pointing the finger, partly at you the passenger! Check out how many more flights are canceled again today.

Hi there trooper! do you think it was a good thing or a bad thing when, at my golf lesson yesterday, a groundskeeper, diligently watching, clapped and cheered when I finally hit something where it was supposed to go... clear of the water and sand! Or did he just want to finish his work at that hole? Ha!

"Does this uniform make me look fat?" I'm gonna say this is not the most weighty story, but it is my favorite today: The big men in the NFL are complaining about how they look in their new uniforms!

I broke my cardinal rule of dieting yesterday. I went out to eat lunch during the work week, ordered the bread and pasta, AND took advantage of the "buy a glass get the bottle free" of wine. But the disclaimer: it was the rare opportunity to break bread with the hubby during the week.

...after which i promptly took a nap.

1) You can sit there and tell people the funny stories you remember involving them and they have no memory of it... and vice versa!

2) You have no idea the kind of childhood other people had at home, even though you saw them everyday for years.
