Nancy Grace: How the whole thing happened

The story of a missing 12-year-old boy found alive in his Detroit, Michigan, basement is blowing up online in part because police found him while his dad was being interviewed by HLN's Nancy Grace.

Charlie Bothuell, who had been missing for 11 days, was found Wednesday in the basement of his father's home. Grace broke the news on camera to Charlie's father, Charles Bothuell IV, who appeared bewildered by the announcement.

Nancy Grace: Delusions drove Mayes to kill

Two young girls kidnapped from Tennessee have been found. Adam Mayes, the man accused of taking them -- and killing their sister and their mother -- is dead.  According to the FBI, he took his own life.

Nancy Grace has been in touch with the girls' father and joined Natasha Curry on Morning Express. She has learned that for years, Mayes has insisted that Alexandria and Kyliyah Bain were his biological daughters. But their father tells Nancy that they are not and that delusion was what drove him to kill their mother and their sister.

Last week, we had a ballroom gospel choir. This week, we had spangled singing nuns aplenty. Really, what more could you ask for? What is that? You also want some pretty decent dancing, a Ukrainian cat fight and one big mess of a group number? Ask, followers of the Mirrorball, and you shall receive!

'DWTS' recap: J.R. Martinez, "loin shattering sex machine"

'Bangles, spangles and tangles'

It was prom night in the ballroom! Assuming you went to prom in the ‘80s and weren’t gestating in the womb, like Derek. Way to make everyone feel old, bro. Naturally everyone was dressed in their finest ‘80s frillery, no one more than Brooke, who took a break from being a robot to giggle a lot and don a fantastic blue shoulder pad number. If only she could do away with those cue cards! Her persistent adherence to the script is the opposite of Your Host “That will teach me to drink during commercials” Tom, and makes her the host equivalent of one of those automated voices you hear when you call information. The show will go blue sequin Brooke’s way, or no way at all!

From the way Your Host Tom said the stars would be “dancing from the heart,” last night’s installment of Dancing with the Stars was pretty much guaranteed to be a sog-fest, but did you laugh or cry along as our twinkly balls of emotion danced out their most memorable years? Truthfully, I did a little bit of both.

Oh, the drama! As if taking (mostly) normal celebrities and making them shimmy and kick and do all sorts of unnatural movements while looking like Halloween in Vegas wasn’t enough, we were now treated to several soggy rounds of rehearsal tears and steaming hot tension (we’re looking at you, Elisabetta and Val!), not to mention Disney villainess Brooke, and Your Host Tom surrounded by teenage girls. But on the dancing end, there were enough surprises to keep things interesting despite the storms behind the scenes.
