Kareem Abdul Jabbar joins Robin Meade and Carlos Diaz to talk Final Four in Atlanta

Kareem calls it for Louisville

He's the NBA's all-time leading scorer, six-time NBA MVP, a best selling author, co-pilot of the ill-fated jet in the slapstick movie smash "Airplane," and the only player in the 75-year history of the NCAA to be named Most Valuable Player of the tournament for three consecutive years. And he's really, really tall.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar sat down with Robin Meade and Carlos Diaz on Friday to offer his special insight into what the athletes competing in the Final Four this weekend in Atlanta are going through, and to offer some advice. Specifically: Don't "go off on some tangent."

Final Four times two for U of L president

He's the university president with two teams in the Final Four: Dr. James Ramsey heads up the University of Louisville, and he's got an especially thrilling -- and challenging -- weekend ahead.

Louisville's men’s and women’s basketball teams are both in the Final Four in the same year. And both teams have stories that we can't stop talking about: Kevin Ware and his shocking injury on the men's team, and the amazing upset of Baylor and superstar Brittney Grimes on the women's side.

CBS Sports' Clark Kellogg

Seeing Ware injury, sportscaster 'paused & prayed'

He'll be bringing you all the action during the Final Four TV broadcasts this weekend along with Jim Nantz. But on Friday, CBS Sports' Clark Kellogg had to put on his Crocs and come down from his Atlanta hotel room to the Starbucks in the CNN Center atrium so he could bring his wife some coffee!

That's where we spotted him and brought him over to the big bracket.
