Gonzalo could be the strongest hurricane to ever hit the island with 145 mile per hour winds churning up 45-foot waves.

Tropical Storm Ana is expected to strenghten before skimming the Hawaiian Islands this weekend

Tropical Storm Ana heads toward Hawaii

Tropical Storm Ana may be a hurricane today. Current projections show the storm sliding south of Hawaii's Big Island and then brushing Oahu and Kuai this weekend.

And over in the Atlantic, there is a hurricane warning in place for Bermuda. They get hit by Hurricane Gonzalo tomorrow, possibly as a major hurricane (CAT 3) and on the bad, or right side, of the storm.

Overnight, Hurricane Iselle was downgraded to a tropical storm, just as people in Hawaii began to feel it start to lash the Big Island.

HLN vs. CNN: The great Times Square Toboggan race

A man rides a bicycle in Manhattan during a snowstorm that is moving through the Northeast on January 21, 2014 in New York City. Along with dropping arctic tempertures the storm is expected to bring three to five inches by nightfall, with another four to six inches falling overnight.

Bundle up: Cold temps could linger for days

To put it in meteorological terms, the weather in the Northeastern U.S. is a mess!

The heaviest snow in the Northeast will fall on Boston and the Cape. The white stuff is coming down pretty well down to Long Island. There is a blizzard warning for Cape Cod and a Winter Storm Warning for Boston in place right now and those will stay in place until 1 p.m. ET.

Holiday travel day from hell ahead?

What a mess.

Our parent storm is over the Louisiana coast now and moving northeast. Tonight it will merge with a system that formed over the Great Lakes.

'Zombie Workout,' or 'The Walking Gymrat'

Not having a pulse is no excuse to skip your workout. And as HLN's Bob Van Dillen finds out, having a face full of rotting flesh is a good way to make sure you never have to wait for a machine at the gym!

Makeup artist Toby Sells turns HLN meteorologist Bob Van Dillen into one of the undead

Watch: Zero to zombie in 90 seconds

Halloween morning, Morning Express with Robin Meade meteorologist Bob Van Dillen delivered your forecast from a makeup chair while he was being "zombified."

Makeup artist Toby Sells applied the same techniques he's used for more than 30 years in TV and movies ("Zombieland," "The Vampire Diaries," "The Walking Dead") to turn Bob from a (mostly) mild-mannered Jersey boy to a menacing flesh-eater.

Who makes the best Zombie? HLN News Now anchor Mike Galanos (L) or Morning Express with Robin Meade meteorologist Bob Van Dillen (R)

Zombie face off! Van Dillen vs. Galanos

It took 90 minutes for makeup artist Toby Sells to turn HLN Meteorologist Bob Van Dillen into one of the undead (though many of us who work with him don't see much of a difference).

Don't miss: Can you handle the 'Zombie Workout'?
