Tropical Storm Andrea is off the west Florida coast and will make landfall as a weak tropical storm in the Big Bend of FL this evening or late afternoon.

Andrea is pretty typical as far as early season storms go.  It formed on the spot they always do -- in the Gulf of Mexico where the water is warmest.
