Why 'sleeping in' won't boost energy
Dr. Stork tells Robin that you get energy throughout the day from a good night's sleep, healthy foods and staying active. He tries to go to bed at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning. Even when he can sleep in, he still gets up at the same time. "If I sleep in too much, then it just ruins my circadian rhythm," he says, "so I'd rather get up at the same time every day." According to Stork, repeated studies show that sleeping in does not improve your energy.
