The jury in the Jodi Arias murder trial on Tuesday heard a litany of lies as Jodi’s police interrogation tape was played for the court. We listened to her tell the lead detective lie after lie including a story that a couple of ninja intruders killed Travis.

Jodi Arias 'sounded very innocent'

Jane Velez-Mitchell had an exclusive interview with Brint Hiatt, a former roommate of Travis Alexander. Hiatt tells Jane that Jodi Arias called him several times after Alexander was killed and that at the time, “she sounded very innocent.”

Jane Velez-Mitchell had an exclusive interview with Dr. Karl Hiatt, a close friend and mentor of Travis Alexander. Dr. Hiatt says Travis spoke to him about his relationship with Jodi Arias and even gave him an ominous warning.

Jodi Arias is accused of brutally murdering her ex-boyfriend, Travis Alexander. Police say she stabbed him 29 times, slit his throat and shot him. Arias claims it was in self-defense.

The Jodi Arias defense team dropped a bombshell in court on Thursday asking for a mistrial.

Defense asks for mistrial in Arias case

The Jodi Arias defense team dropped a bombshell in court on Thursday asking for a mistrial. The defense argued that Det. Esteban Flores, the lead detective, gave inaccurate information at a hearing in 2009. The judge denied that motion, saying that Flores’ “mistake” did not violate Arias’ right to a fair trial.

But Jane Velez-Mitchell’s panel of legal experts say the defense may have had another reason for making this motion.
