Greenpeace activists granted bail in Russia!

Greenpeace activists granted bail in Russia!

Russian courts announced Wednesday they would begin granting bail for some of the so-called ‘Arctic 30’.  Two months ago, Greenpeace set out a ship to peacefully protest a Russian state owned oil rig they claim is dangerous to the environment. The activists tried to climb aboard the oil rig to raise a banner when Russian authorities sprayed them with high pressure water blasts and fired water shots.

Russian authorities claim the activists endangered the crew on the rig and are charging them with hooliganism. That charge carries up to seven years in prison.

Planet ER: Climate change calling

Planet ER: Climate change calling

Climate change is creating more extreme weather and we're largely responsible for it. Therefore we are at least partially responsible for the devastation in the Philippines. And, when it comes to climate change, we are also hurting ourselves here in the U.S. look at the killer tornados  devastating the Midwest. It's heartbreaking. The whole tragedy, is that we could turn it around with relatively modest changes to our lifestyle.

Obviously, the rational choice is to make small changes to our lifestyle. Straight out to Greenpeace Research Director Mark Flogel.
