Michael Dunn: Was there more than one gun?

Michael Dunn: Was there more than one gun?

It was an explosive day in court during the Michael Dunn murder trial.

Friends who were in the car with Jordan Davis took the stand, explaining what happened the night the 17-year-old was shot and killed by Michael Dunn. Both legal teams bombarded the young men with questions about safety locks, weapons and music. When asked if it’s possible there was a gun or other weapon in the car, all three friends said "no."  The defense team, however, was quick to follow up, saying due to a shoddy police investigation, they could have ditched a gun.

USDA suspends calf slaughterhouse

USDA suspends calf slaughterhouse

The USDA temporarily shut down the Catelli Brothers calf slaughter plant in New Jersey after the Humane Society of the United States conducted an undercover investigation of what was going on inside.  What they found was horrific.  Calves are shot several times before finally becoming unconscious.  They're shocked, hit and sprayed with powerful hoses.  This is supposedly one of the largest lamb and veal companies in the country according to their website.  The Catelli Brothers plant was shut down, but no criminal charges have been filed.  In a statement, the Catelli Brothers wrote:

"For two generations, Catelli Brothers has recognized our ethical obligation for the well-being of calves that are in our care, and we take our commitment to humane treatment of every calf seriously. We are deeply concerned about the allegations that have been made regarding the care of calves at our facility.  Any mistreatment of animals at our facility is unacceptable, and our established practices strictly prohibit the processing of any downed calves.
