Isabel Celis vanished from her Arizona home more than 7 months ago.  Her father reported her missing from their Tucson home on the morning of April 21^st.  Police say the bedroom window to Isabel’s room was open and the screen was removed. Evidence of “apparent blood” was found in her bedroom.  But there has been no sign of Isabel.

Isabel’s mother spoke to Jane Velez-Mitchell’s team by phone today and asked us to “please keep putting her picture out there. We just really want her home and for people to keep an eye out. Keep praying. We want Isabel home for Christmas.”

Hundreds of police documents in the Isabel Celis case have just been released, giving us a new look inside the investigation. Isabel Celis disappeared from her Tucson, Arizona, home overnight April 20. She was 6 years old at the time. 

Isabel’s dad, Sergio, says the family came home late on the April 20 and he fell asleep on the couch after putting Isabel to sleep in her bedroom. Isabel’s mom left for work at 7 a.m., but did not check on Isabel. Later that morning, Sergio discovered that Isabel was missing and called 911.

Isabel Celis turned 7-years-old this week but instead of celebrating, her family is forced to wonder if she is still alive. Isabel vanished from her family home in Tucson, Arizona in April. Police say the bedroom window was open and the screen was removed. They also found blood in her bedroom.

Jim Moret spoke with reporter Kevin Kevin from KGUN in Tucson to get the latest on the search for missing Isabel. 

Police say two other girls, aged only 9 and 11, made fake 911 calls pretending to be missing Isabel Celis.  Police spent about $5,000 investigating these calls finally tracing them to a Tucson home where two sisters admitted to making false calls.  The two girls were arrested on suspicion of false reporting to the authorities and taken to juvenile jail.

The 911 calls in the Isabel Celis case raise even more questions. Several family members spoke to 911 dispatchers the morning 6-year-old Isabel was discovered missing. But many are pointing out what seem to be discrepancies between these calls and the police scanner tapes from that same time.

Isabel Celis was last seen on April 20, when she was put to bed. She was discovered missing the next morning by her father.

The uncle of missing six-year-old Isabel Celis told HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell Thursday that the family is "praying to God that Isabel comes home."

“We go to sleep and hope it’s just a nightmare, and we wake up and we’re still in the same situation,” Louis Rodriguez said. "This is something that you think could never happen to you. ... It’s just a feeling you never want to go through."
