An article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution suggests that cops may have overstated some of the evidence against Harris during a probable cause hearing, describing several discrepancies between what cops say happened and evidence a newspaper was able to obtain.

The newly appointed attorney for Leanna Harris whose husband is accused of leaving their toddler son, Cooper, to die in a hot SUV released a statement on her behalf Tuesday, saying she is "living every parent's nightmare."

"She will never again be able to tuck him into bed at night and return later to check on him," said Leanna Harris' attorney Lawrence Zimmerman.
