Krokodil: The deadly, flesh-eating street drug

There is a new drug reportedly hitting the streets in the U.S. and the side effects are horrific.  The drug, called Krokodil, has been used in Russia for a few years but incidents in the U.S. are fairly recent.  The drug is called Krokodil because it makes your skin look scaly and often turns it green or even purple. The drug is more potent than heroin but is homemade using codeine and gasoline, lighter fluid, industrial cleaners, and even acid. It is cheap but extremely dangerous.

Did Bon Jovi's daughter almost OD on heroin?

A young woman believed to be the daughter of singer Jon Bon Jovi nearly died of a heroin overdose. Police say a student at Hamilton College by the name of Stephanie Bongiovi was rushed to the hospital after being found unresponsive in her dorm room.

Bongiovi was arrested, but charges against her were dropped on Thursday because the District Attorney’s office says a New York law states that the victim of an overdose can’t face charges for having the drugs they overdosed on.
