There is a battle brewing over horse-drawn carriages in New York City, and whether horses should be on the road with the busy city traffic.

On August 16, a horse named Oreo broke free and ran through the streets, overturning his carriage with tourists on board before crashing into a parked car.

Isabel Celis turned 7-years-old this week but instead of celebrating, her family is forced to wonder if she is still alive. Isabel vanished from her family home in Tucson, Arizona in April. Police say the bedroom window was open and the screen was removed. They also found blood in her bedroom.

Jim Moret spoke with reporter Kevin Kevin from KGUN in Tucson to get the latest on the search for missing Isabel. 

A trailer used by Liz Taylor during the filming of the movie "Cleopatra" has been trashed.

Dishes and mirrors were shattered and at least one item, a priceless rocking chair used by Taylor, went missing. The damage has been estimated to be at least $100,000. 

A single mother in Charlotte, North Carolina vanished without a trace leaving a desperate family searching for answers. Crystal Morrison a 31-year-old single mother was last seen leaving her office August 23^rd.  Her father reported her missing the next day after she missed an appointment. When she vanished she had her purse and her ID but did not have a car and her cell phone is either dead or turned off. Police say they have no evidence of foul play.

Jim Moret sat down with Crystal’s sister and father who both say that Crystal would never just walk away from her family. 

Police responding to a home alarm found a Florida mother shot to death with her two year old son only steps away.  Jorgete Acarie, a 43-year-old mother was found murdered in her bedroom, her body riddled with bullets.  Her young son was nearby but was unharmed.

Police launched a manhunt for Acarie’s ex-boyfriend, Kristopher Gould.  Acarie has previously filed a police report against Gould after an altercation which left her bruised and battered.  Police found Gould sleeping on a bench and arrested him on unrelated charges, including giving a false name and carrying a concealed weapon.

Tropical Storm Isaac was still hovering over Louisiana Wednesday evening prompting curfews in New Orleans and causing more damage then many expected.  Rescue crews have been working around the clock to save stranded residents caught in severe floods. Meteorologists say the pounding rain could last until Friday and could bring 20 inches of rain.

CNN Correspondent Ed Lavandera is in Grand Isle, Louisiana where some residents are stranded due to high floodwaters. 

Tommy Kidd is a resident of the Gulf Coast and is under mandatory evacuation. His wife has left but Tommy is staying to work with the Emergency Operations Center. Their house was severely damaged during Hurricane Katrina and Tommy explains to Jim Moret why he stayed behind and how people are preparing for this potentially devastating storm. 

Hurricane Isaac made landfall in southeast Louisiana Tuesday evening and the worst of the storm is expected to hit New Orleans late Tuesday night. Experts predict up to 20 inches of rainfall in some areas, along with possible tornadoes.
