Editor's Note: Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer and it’s the time of year when everyone starts heading outside to enjoy the fresh air and the warm weather. With that in mind, Jane Velez-Mitchell is proud to focus the entire hour of her show on Memorial Day on improving and maintaining one of our most precious resources: the environment. Jane will be joined by our very special guest, Philippe Cousteau, as we highlight ways average people have been able to make a big difference.

Jane Velez-Mitchell says one girl's trash is another girl's treasure! She hosts a no shop swap party to prove it! Do you have clothes that you never wear or did someone give you a gift that you will never use? Don't throw it out! Maybe someone else wants it. Try hosting a no shop swap where you can get rid of stuff that you don't want and maybe pick up a few treasures of your own.
