American couples who want to adopt a child in Russia won't be able to once Russia’s president signs a new ban into law.

Lawmakers passed the ban earlier this week, which makes it illegal for hundreds of American families to travel to Russia and adopt children there.

A group from Newtown calling themselves "Newtown United" was in Washington D.C. on Tuesday to talk with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence. Girl's last text inspires school safety changes

One man who is all too familiar with the tragedy in Newtown Connecticut is John Michael Keyes. His daughter Emily was killed in a shooting at Platte Canyon High School in Colorado in 2006.

Keyes started a foundation called "I luv u guys" (that was the last text he received from his daughter) and now speaks across the country about school safety protocols.
