More than 300 patients were evacuated from a New York hospital after a power outage. Included in those patients were sick babies (some premature) who had to be carried by nurses down nine flights of stairs.

Susan Krantz was at the doctor's office for a wellness visit and wanted to ask about her sore hip. She says those added questions prompted an extra $50 charge on her bill!

If you find yourself in a similar situation, HLN money expert Clark Howard says you can file a fee dispute with the local affiliate of the American Medical Association. He also says you can hire a billing advocate who will go through some of your bigger bills to look for false or excessive chargse.

A 14-year old special needs student is recovering after his mom says he was bullied and beat up at school.

Austin Stokes has cerebral palsy and is paralyzed on one side of his body. His mom, Lori Dees, says an older student called her son an offensive term last week and Austin threw a can of soda at him in return.
