Jimi Jamison, 'Baywatch' theme singer, dead at 63

Jimi Jamison, the lead singer of the band "Survivor," has died.

Jamison, 63, sang on five Top 20 singles, including the 1985 hit "Burning Heart." He also co-wrote and sang the "Baywatch" theme song, "I'm Always Here."

A statement on the band's Facebook page reads "the entire Survivor family is very shocked and saddened by the passing of our brother Jimi Jamison."

Jamison's cause of death has not yet been released.
