Never let it be said that Helen Mirren doesn't get out there and sell the heck out of her movies.
With a trunk full of acting honors and 49 years of making films already, the woman does not need to be canvassing American TV shows, tirelessly pitching "The Hundred-Foot Journey" as she has this week.
And she certainly -- as a respectable 69-year-old Dame of the British Empire -- does not need to be twerking with Michael Strahan on national TV.
But holy cow here we are and wow are we glad she did.
At this point, I can't help but feel like Dame Helen deserves at least this much: Everybody, "The Hundred-Foot Journey" opens in theaters nationwide this Friday, August 8.
