Study: 100 genes linked to schizophrenia

More than 100 genes in your body may be linked to you risk of schizophrenia.

That's according to a new, large study which also confirmed that genes connected to your immune system are associated with the brain disorder.

Scientists say more research is needed, but this discovery could help develop drug treatments.

About one percent of Americans have schizophrenia.
