Alleged stalker to Bullock: 'You belong to me'

The man accused of breaking into Sandra Bullock's home on June 8 apparently walked directly in front of the superstar's bedroom with her inside, according to the search warrant and affidavit obtained by HLN.

Cops say 39-year-old Joshua James Corbett allegedly climbed a chain-link fence that was topped with barbed wire around 5 a.m. to get inside Bullock's property line. Cops arrested Corbett after receiving a "hot prowler" call around 6:30 a.m. suggesting Corbett was inside for more than an hour before the actress realized she was not alone.

According to the search warrant, Bullock heard banging in an upstairs room of her Los Angeles mansion around 1 a.m. She told police she tried to go back to sleep, but couldn't because the banging grew louder and sounded like it was coming from another room.

"[Redacted] stated that she feared for her safety, closed and locked the door to her bedroom and called 911," reads the search warrant. "She stated as she was closing the door to her bedroom, she observed a male, wearing a dark sweatshirt, dark pants, walk past her bedroom."

Bullock then locked herself inside the room and waited for cops to arrive.

Corbett was arrested inside Bullock's home. As he was being detained, Corbett yelled out, "Sandy, I'm sorry. Please don't press charges," according to the search warrant.

Arresting officers also found handwritten notes Corbett wrote for the actress.

"Sandy, you could have had me today however you choose other people over me. I'll be around as you know. I love you," read one of the notes. "I will forever be thinking be thinking of you and Louie my son as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you."

He signs one of the letters, "Always and Love forever your Husband Joshua James Corbett."

Corbett is charged with burglary, stalking and owning an illegal machine gun. He has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, Corbett faces up to seven years, four months in prison.

According to his booking sheet, Corbett remains in jail with his bail set at almost $2.2 million.
