Aaah, Saturday morning cartoons. “Space Ghost,” “Captain Caveman,” “Scooby-Doo,” the list goes on. While none of the above-mentioned are producing new cartoons these days, there’s one way to relive the glorious morning shows of the past: The Youtube sensation, Saturday Morning Slow Jams, which is a series brought to us by musician Scott Bradlee, features different artists singing lead vocals on some of your fave cartoons from yesteryear.
Bradlee loves to re-imagine the hits of the past and turn them into awesome power ballets for today. This week Bradlee released a '40s-inspired version of Britney Spears' "Womanizer," sung by Cristina Gatti.
