Police departments across the country have started posting mugshots on their Facebook pages in an effort to deter potential criminals. We're guessing that, in this case, that goal was probably not accomplished.
In fact, if you ask Facebook fans of the Stockton Police Department in California, felony weapons charges never looked so good. Rather than the usual "disgusting" and "for shame" comments mugshot posts typically elicit, these posters apparently couldn't control their lust for the suspected criminal.
More than 2,000 people commented on the mugshot of one Jeremy Meeks, a 30-year-old convicted felon who was recently arrested on weapons charges.
Someone even created a fan page! As of Friday morning, the pic had been Photoshopped into some hilarious ads as well.
