The terror of being on lockdown while a gunman is inside your school was captured in real-time Tuesday by several Reynolds High School students in Troutdale, Oregon, who were on Twitter while shots were fired inside their building.
The shooting began around 11 a.m. ET with a single gunman armed with a semi-automatic weapon, according to police. The gunman was killed and there are reports that at least one student was killed. The brazen attack sent panic throughout the school, as evidenced by these tweets that were all sent by Reynolds students:
